Welcome to The Cozy Casual, a soft place to land for women who are ready to slow down, come home to themselves, and find beauty in the ordinary again.
Hi, I'm Kristi, a proud mom of two girls, married to my college sweetheart, and the slightly chaotic but deeply contented caretaker of 3 dogs and 2 cats. (Yes, it's a lot. Yes, I love every bit of it.)
I've always been a little old-fashioned at heart.
Long before The Cozy Casual, I owned a home decor and gift shop, A Dash of Casual. I learned that it was rarely about buying more things. It was about creating a feeling, a home that wrapped around you at the end of a long day and made everyday moments feel a little more meaningful.
Even after closing the shop, that love for cozy living never left me.
A Few Memories from A Dash of Casual
For several years I had the joy of helping women create homes they loved coming back to. Every display was styled by hand, collections carefully chosen, and every season became another chance to help someone see new possibilities for their home.
While The Cozy Casual has grown into something different, that same heart is still here.
Today, instead of decorating shop displays, I help women create beautiful homes, meaningful businesses, and gentler everyday lives. Whether it's finding a cozy rhythm for your days, building a home that truly feels like you, or dreaming up a business that fits your life instead of taking it over, I love helping women create lives that feel warm, intentional, and deeply personal.
The furniture may have changed... but the heart behind it hasn't.
I am the woman who has carried some form of an analog bag since high school. The book I'm reading, my favorite pens, a journal, and a cross stitch project. I save every handwritten letter and consider a trip to the library a real treat. The perfect evening to me is a good book, a cozy chair, and no agenda.
The Cozy Casual exists for women who are tired of rushing, scrolling, optimizing, and performing, and are quietly longing to return to something slower and real. It's for women who want to romanticize ordinary days, pick a creative hobby, make their homes feel like a sanctuary, and rediscover gentle rhythms our grandmothers lived by.
I'm here to pull up a chair beside you, grab a cup of tea, and remind you that the small things are really the whole point.
